My Life Behind the Wheel and Behind the Lens
For me, cars aren't just a hobby—they're a part of who I am. I’ve been around racetracks since before I could walk. While most kids were learning their ABCs, I was learning what a pit lane, what that smell of race fuel meant, and how a perfectly timed downshift sounded. I grew up in the noise, the heat, and the rush of it all—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
Before I ever picked up a camera, I was soaking in the world of cars from the sidelines. I didn’t start by turning wrenches—I started by watching, learning, and falling in love with the sound, the style, and the speed. Over time, that fascination grew into hands-on experience. I’ve raced, built, and lived the car life in my own way, and those memories fuel every shot I take today.
Car shows were the earliest places I fell in love with design and detail. I was always drawn to the stories behind the builds—why someone chose that swap, that wheel setup, that wild paint code or crazy vinyl wrap. There’s an unspoken respect in those spaces, where creativity meets engineering and people pour their souls into their rides.
And then there’s racing—the heartbeat of it all. There’s no feeling like standing trackside, camera in hand, timing each frame with the rhythm of the race. The speed, the precision, the grit in the paddock—it all tells a story, and I feel lucky every time I get to capture it.
Photography became the natural extension of this lifelong love. It’s my way of preserving the beauty, the tension, and the culture I’ve lived and breathed for so long. From a slammed build tucked in the corner of a show lot to a car fighting for grip through a fast corner, these moments are personal. They’re more than images—they’re memories, legacies, emotions frozen in time.
