Ongoing Love for the Toyota Supra
There are cars, and then there are icons. Although not my number one, for me the Toyota Supra has always been one of those legends. It’s more than just a machine—it’s a symbol of speed, style, and a culture that’s shaped generations of car lovers like me.
Growing up around racetracks and car shows, the Supra always stood out. Whether it was the sleek lines of the A70, the timeless beauty of the A80, or the sharp aggression of the modern GR Supra, it carried a presence that turned heads and sparked conversations. I remember seeing my first MK4 in person as a kid it was bold, loud, and unapologetically fast. From that moment, I was hooked.
The Supra isn’t just admired for its looks or its 2JZ engine it represents a golden era of tuning and performance. It’s the car that built dreams in garages and dominated screens in video games and movies. And now, getting to photograph these machines feels like coming full circle. Every time I see one at a meet or a track, I get that same feeling I did when I was younger pure excitement.
Capturing a Supra on camera is about more than angles and lighting it’s about showing respect. Every detail, from the body lines to the turbo spool, tells a story. Whether it’s a clean build parked under show lights or a widebody beast tearing through a track corner, I try to freeze the emotion that makes the Supra such a cultural icon.
As someone who’s built and raced cars, I see the Supra not just as a canvas for creativity, but as a symbol of what connects all of us car enthusiasts. It's a bridge between generations, cultures, and disciplines drifting, drag racing, show scenes, or just weekend cruising. The Supra has done it all and is one of my top cars to wear the crown.
This is why I love what I do. Through my lens, I get to honor the cars that shaped my journey and few have had the impact that the Supra has. Here’s to the legends, the ones we never stop chasing.
